I’m Hannah…the creator of Designed to Drive.

A self professed motoring enthusiast, owner & driver of several ‘sensible’ cars. Seeker of glorious roads, fab food and an avid view hunter.

After a career in corporate design & events, and a colourful history of amateur motorsport competition, I started moonlighting with several tour companies supporting with route recces and organisation, and running charity tours for motorclubs, all for the love of it.

Designed to Drive was born from a simple idea: to offer truly bespoke driving tours for individuals, friends, and car clubs — without the sky-high price tag or the need to burn through all your annual leave. And importantly, without the pressure to turn up in a supercar or a pristine classic, although they are always welcome!

I don’t own a “supercar,” but I do have a couple of cars I absolutely love to drive. The problem? I struggled to find tours where they felt like they belonged. Most options out there follow rigid itineraries and don’t allow much room to explore, pause, or take a detour just for the fun of it. That’s not my style.

For me, the joy of a road trip is the freedom — to stop for a scenic walk, take a last-minute skidpan session, or swap a five-star hotel for something simpler so I can spend more on driver coaching. Designed to Drive is all about giving you that freedom: tours built around your car, your style, and your idea of a great time behind the wheel.
